Complimented with all records, books, cover, and tools. This is an opportunity to own a time capsule S2000 that has never been changed since the day it left the factory. It does not have the infamous 2nd gear grind when cold for AP1 or the clutch buzz issues. Replacing the clutch fluid in the system will also improve the clutch pedal feel. Ensure the ball sits in the clutch fork socket before replacing the bolts. Lubricate with some high temp grease (Honda UREA grease) on the ball and socket and re-fit. This vehicle has sat in a garage its entire life, never stored outside. Clean out the dirt and rust in the socket on the end of the clutch fork. It comes with all books and records, Teaneu cover, Car cover, spare tire, towing kit, jack, and hammer. The top is in like-new condition as well as the interior with no deformed bolster wear or leather cracking.
The vehicle has also had a transmission and differential fluid change done within the last 2000 miles. This includes all OEM parts: Oil change and Filter, Break Line bleed and Pad Lubrication (Pads have 80% left all around), Clutch fluid bleed, Full shifter assembly re-grease, new front tires (rear tires only have 2000 miles of wear on them), new battery, and rear axle TSB's torqued to 400ft-lbs. The car had just received a slew of new parts/maintenance at the end of spring (approximately 500 miles ago). The paint is in phenomenal condition with no scrapping under the front bumper. Honda has an updated clutch disc to help reduce the noise. This S2000 has never been modified by its single owner from new. A buzzing from the transmission when decelerating from 3,000 to 4,000 RPM can be caused by normal gear backlash noise in the transmission.
A rev-happy motor screams to 9k rpm paired with one of the best manual transmissions ever produced made an instant classic.
The Honda S2000 remains one of the best driving cars in its class to this day. Silver on Black with Black Carpeting, 43,000 miles from new, F20C 2.0 Liter 4-Cyliner Engine, 6-Speed Manual, Single collector from new, Immaculate Condition.
